Virgiline McNeal, 93, of East Moline, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline. A visitation will be held Friday, January 9th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Burial will be Saturday, January 10th, in Aledo Cemetery in Aledo, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Virgiline McCulley was born in Mercer County, IL, on August 20, 1921, to Virgil and Lorena (Finch) McCulley. On January 1, 1941, in Joy, IL, she married Burr O. McNeal, who preceded her in death October 12, 2008. She enjoyed reading, bowling, dancing, and traveling. Survivors include: daughter Ruthann (Orval) Farrier of Moline; son Larry (Jenny) McNeal of East Moline; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter, Janet.
