Terry Richard Bingham, a beloved member of the Moline community, passed away peacefully at his home in Moline, Illinois, on April 28, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on February 25, 1934, Terry met the love of his life, Una, and together they built a wonderful life together, putting God first and foremost in their relationship. His love for his motorcycles was passed down to his kids and his grandchildren, and some of his fondest memories were of the rides he went on with all of them and his trips to Daytona. Even in his last few years, he was seen on his little red scooter around town.

A proud graduate of Moline High School, Terry's life was marked by his lifelong commitment to his roots in the city he loved so dearly. He was the owner and operator of Teske Pet and Garden Center, a testament to his dedication to what his Father had built and his determination to carry on the family's love for animals and their love for the outdoors. Gardening holds a big place in the hearts of his children and grandchildren, and Teske's was a place where his family could share their joy with the rest of the community. What started as a place to feed farm animals turned into a place where you could also meet reptiles and small animals, and of course, dogs and cats. He made it into a family affair, and the surrounding community walked into a place where you are welcomed like family and long-time friends.

Terry also bravely served his country as a Sergeant-Airman 1st Class in the U.S. Air Force, earning the respect of his peers and contributing to the values of service and community that defined his life. His time in Japan with his wife introduced them to their absolute love and passion for the Orient.

Known for his loving personality, Terry was much loved by his large family, which includes children, Terry R. (Julie) Bingham, Darcy (Randy) Rogers, Gina (Jim) Falk, Brett (Luella) Bingham, Ty (Kathleen) Bingham, Kiki (Reaksa) Toum, Jade Bingham and her son Jordan, Shayla (Bill) Weedman, Tia Thai, Trung Do, Sophorn (Doug) Bechtel, and Soben Fay Bingham. Twenty-six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. His two sisters, Vicki (Doug) Grudzinski and Crystal Bingham, also survive him, cherishing the joyful memories they shared.

Terry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Una Juhl (Derby) Bingham, 11 years ago, and we can only imagine what joyful reunion they had in Heaven and how God smiled. It was probably quite the celebration with all his loved ones who loved God as He did. Terry was a born-again Christian and knew that when he passed, he would share eternity with his wife and God. He enjoyed this world and all the things that made him who he was, but he knew he was going to Heaven. His belief in God and his reunion with his wife were what got him through so much of what the world piles on us. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that who should ever believe in Him, shall not perish but have Eternal life."  He was also preceded in death by his parents, Carl Ralph and Gladys (Swanson) Bingham.

Terry was so LOVED. He made you feel welcome and made you feel like family. His Teske employees ARE an extension of the Bingham family and have dedicated years of their lives to Teske's and everything he loved. If Dad wasn't riding his motorcycles, you could catch him watching a Chicago Cubs or Chicago Bears game or attending one of his many grandchildren's games, plays, or events. He was always keeping himself busy, tinkering in his garage or feeding the birds and squirrels in his garden, making sure Mom's flamingos were cared for (plastic decor), and loved to hang out with his neighborhood pals. Terry's laugh and joy for life will be sorely missed by everyone.

Family and friends are invited to share memories and express condolences to the family on his Memory Page at wendtfuneralhome.com.
