Susan Elsayed, of Moline, IL, died October 7, 2020, at Clarissa Cook Hospice in Bettendorf, IA.

Services will be Saturday, October 10, at 10:30 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a one hour visitation prior to service beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Memorials may be made to Arc of the Quad Cities.

Susan was born in Moline, IL, on November 18, 1966, to Ivan and Edna (McRoy) Hines. She married Ahmed Elsayed on May 25, 2012 in Rock Island.

Susan graduated from Moline High School and attended Scott Community College where she received her Nursing Degree. She worked at home doing Medical Transcription.

Her hobbies were sewing, cooking, chess, playing the piano and knitting.

Survivors include her husband Ahmed Elsayed of Moline and her children; Katie Weis of East Moline, Alex Weis of Arizona, Robin Day of Oregon, Maxon Weis of Urbana, and Maryam Diallo of Moline.

She was preceded in death by her father, a daughter Sarah, and a brother David Hines.
