Scott P. Wilson, 70, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, at Mercy One Genesis Medical Center in Silvis, Illinois. Born in Moline, Illinois, to John and Vivian (Larsen) Wilson. Cremation rites will be accorded, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

A graduate of United Township High School in East Moline, Scott was known for his warm personality and ability to connect with others. Over the years, he worked in various roles throughout the Quad Cities, including bartending at local favorites like Hafner’s Wagon Wheel and the Svithoid Club. He also owned the Wunder Y for a time and briefly worked at John Deere.

Scott’s true gift was his way with people. He never met a stranger and had a talent for making everyone feel welcome, whether through a conversation, a laugh, or a kind word.

Scott is survived by his brother, Rand Wilson of Moline. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vivian, and his brother Kirk.
