Richard Lee Adams, 54, of Riverton, IL, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at his home.

Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at First Covenant Church in Moline, IL.

Richard Lee Adams was born May 9, 1967, in Chicago, IL, to William Edward and Ann Jeannette (Hensley) Adams. He married Samantha Burke Jones, who preceded him in death.

Richard was employed by The State Journal-Register working in the Distribution Center as an Associate District Manager.

Survivors include his father, William; sister, Shirley Diane Adams and two nephews, Thomas Edward Adams and Michael Anthony Lundeen.

He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, a sister, Violet Sue Adams, two grandmothers, and two uncles.
