Richard Ramirez, 75, of Rock Island, IL, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Unity Point - Trinity, Rock Island, IL.

Graveside services will be Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 am, at Illinois City Cemetery in Illinois City, IL.

Richard was born in Rock Island on December 17, 1948, to John and Alice (Ehlers) Ramirez. He married Sherry Walston.

He worked as a machinist at Quad City Die Casting Company. Richard enjoyed stock cars, racing and working on them, watching old movies, and collecting baseball cards.

Survivors include four siblings, Robert (Cindy) Londberg, Los Angeles, CA, Linda (Larry) Cale, Bettendorf, IA, Esther Londberg, and Carl Londberg, both of Moline, IL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Walston; son, Terry R. Ramirez, his parents, and step-father, Russell Londberg.
