Penny L. Harker, 65, of East Moline, IL, passed away on December 5, 2025, at her home. Penny was born in Moline, IL, on February 2, 1960, the daughter of Herbert and Syble (Doyle) Harker.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Wendt Funeral Home, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, IL, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the family.

Penny had a soft spot for cats. She would often go out of her way to help a cat in need. She loved her cats as if they were her children. They weren't pets they were family. She would often tell us stories about her cats or how she rescued them.

Penny was a Christian. She would often buy gifts of love just because, no special reason. If Penny knew you then she remembered you in her prayers as she always prayed for family and friends.

Cherishing Penny's memories are her sisters Gloria Winthurst from East Moline, Patty Roberts from Carbon Cliff, Robin Johnson from East Moline. She had several nieces and nephews. Penny was proceeded in death by both her parents, brother Don Harker, niece Michelle Waggoner, friend Gary Weaver.
