Mark John Mulvany passed away at his home Friday morning, May 24, 2024, at the age of 73.

Mark was born on September 23, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Jean A Smith and John V Mulvany.

He leaves behind his sons, Mark, Jr., and Shawn, his grandson Mack, whom he has helped raise, and other grandchildren. Also, a sister, Diane L (Vincent) Rausch, from Cypress, Texas, his brother, Kevin V Mulvany, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and his loving aunt, Lida Mulvany Prchal, of Newport, Oregan.

Mark, Jr., and Shawn's mother, Imogene "Jeannie" Kirklin, passed away in 2007.

Mark was an avid sports fan and a big supporter of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL.
