Lois McGuire, 91, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus in Silvis, IL Graveside services will be Friday, February 12th, at 1:00 p.m., at Greenview Memorial Gardens in Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Lois G. Bangston was born in Moline on December 12, 1918, to Arthur and Lora (Paul) Bangston. On March 29, 1941, in Clinton, IA, she married James E. McGuire, who preceded her in death June 13, 1987. She was a homemaker, and a member of Moline Gospel Temple. Survivors include: a daughtere: Dianne (Otis) Schafer of Silvis, IL; a son: James (Marian) McGuire, Jr of Moline; a sister: Gladys Johnson of Moline; and a brother: Jack Bengston of Oxford, NY; five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Nancy Mussell; a grandson, Timothy McGuire; three brothers, Paul Bengston, and Frank and Harold Daebelliehn; and a sister: Mrs. Len Shaw.
