Laura F. Dickerson, 82, of Moline, IL, died Friday, March 4, 2016, at UnityPoint Trinity Medical Center in Bettendorf, IA. Services will be Thursday, March 10th, at 11:00 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will be at National Cemetery on Arsenal Island in Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to Unity Point Visiting Nurses or to Calvary Lutheran Church in Moline. Laura F. Clark was born March 31, 1933, in Collettsville, NC, to Dallas L. and Nellie E. (Fannin) Clark. On April 18, 1954, in New Castle, IN, she married Daniel M. Dickerson. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church, and the Windjammers Band. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, painting, and reading. She loved her books. Laura was a determined lady and loved her family. Survivors include a daughter, Lori (Mark) TePaske of Charles City, IA; sons, Daniel Dickerson, Jr., and Michael P. Dickerson, both of Moline; a sister, June Branch of Lenoir, NC; and two grandsons, Alexander and John TePaske, both of Charles City. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
