Kathy Ann Gale, 80, of Milan, IL, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Hope Creek Nursing Rehab & Care in East Moline, IL.

Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL.

Kathy Ann Hatch was born in Akron, OH, on January 2, 1946, to Dora Hatch. On August 9th in  1968 she married Edward John Gale, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2015.

She cared for children working as a SAHM. a daycare provider (IL)  a nanny(FL & CA) and a daycare worker (CA). 

Survivors include her daughter Connie (Colby) Walker of California, son Glen (Leticia) Cantrell of Nevada,  son John (Tina) Gale of Florida, daughter Jenny McVey of Rock Island, and son Michael (Monica) Gale of California. Her nieces, nephews  grandchildren, great grandchildren,  and great great grandchildren.
