Karen Toensing, 73, of Davenport, IA, peacefully passed away on October 28, 2026, surrounded by her family. Cremation will be directed by Wendt Funeral Home, Moline, IL.

Karen lived a life filled with love. She was best known for helping anyone who needed it. She had often opened her home to people in need. Her favorite pastime was Bingo. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

She is survived by her children, Lori Kilcoin (Chris Kilcoin), Dawn Schaaf (Rob Strahlman), and Stephen Schaaf Jr.; her grandchildren, Reena Desmet (Shane Desmet), Riley Pobanz, Aubrey Kilcoin, and Stephanie Schaaf; her great-grandchildren, Sawyer, McKensie, Dawson, Rowan, Piper and Aspyn; and her siblings John Weathers Jr. and Pennie Weathers. She was preceded in death by her Parents, John Weathers and Betty Fues; her husband, James Toensing; 3 siblings, Sue Ballard, Larry Weathers, Carl Weathers; and grandchildren Cassandra Kilcoin and Michael Schaaf.

A celebration of her life will be held on November 14th at 3:30 pm at Riverfront Grille, Rock Island, IL.
