Johanna E. Giseburt, 86, of Moline, IL, died Saturday, May 21st, 2022, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL.

Services will be Friday, May 27th, at 1:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a one-hour visitation prior to the services, beginning at 12 noon. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estates in Moline.

Johanna Else (Seeliger) Giseburt was born October 2, 1935, in Leutmannsdorf, Prussia, Germany, daughter of Paul and Frieda (Wiethe) Seeliger. On January 31, 1959, in Loda, IL, she married Kenneth J. Giseburt, who preceded her in death.

She retired from Eagle Food Centers warehouse, Milan, IL, in the mid-1990s, after many years of service in data entry.

Survivors are her son, James of Moline; a granddaughter, Amanda (Brandon) Carleton of Rock Island; great-grandchildren, Ellis and Cecilia; her sister Gerda (Seeliger) Anleitner of Straubing, Germany; her brother, Reinhard Seeliger of Kalbach, Germany; and many nieces and nephews in the U.S., Germany, and Switzerland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Erna (Seeliger) Johnsdorf.
