Jason A. Flick, 51, passed away of natural causes, at his home on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

His funeral service will be at Wendt Funeral Home on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 11:00 am, with a visitation on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 5 pm - 7 pm at Wendt Funeral Home, Moline. Private interment will take place in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jason was born in Moline, IL, on July 16, 1971, to James and Gemma (Mikulicz) Flick. He graduated from Moline High School, class of 1989. He received his bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University and then his Master's from Ashford University. He was a teacher of history and the Spanish language and was also an international flight attendant throughout his career. He was fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and loved teaching these languages to others. Jason was a devoted Christian and embodied the Christian spirit of helping others.

His enjoyments included music, cinema films, art, writing, and kayaking but most of all, he loved learning and sharing his knowledge with others.

Survivors include his mother, Gemma Flick, and his father, James Flick (Jeri Vander Vinne); a sister, Nicole "Niki" (Thomas McSherry); Aunts, Uncles, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorials may be made to the Rock Island County Animal Shelter (QC Paws).
