James J. “Jim” Aitken, Jr, 62, of East Moline, IL, died Saturday, June 16, 2018, at UnityPoint Trinity West in Rock Island, IL. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 23 rd , at 10:00 a.m., at Carbon Cliff Cemetery in Carbon Cliff, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Jim Aitken was born September 26, 1955, in Moline, IL, the son of James J. and Janice (Rumler) Aitken, Sr.  He remained single all of his life. Jim was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, and enjoyed western movies, particularly ones starring Clint Eastwood.  He liked playing Spades, and loved fishing, especially on the lateral dam.  Survivors include siblings, Susanne (Thomas) Parker of Milledgeville, IL, Thomas Aitken of East Moline, and Sheri (Robert) Luckenbihl of East Moline; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
