Danny Ray Adams, 66, of Moline, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Genesis Silvis Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at Wendt Funeral Home on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 6:00 pm with a visitation from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm before the service. Memorials may be made to the family.

Danny was born on August 24, 1958, in Tyler, TX, the son of JL and Katherine (Watson) Adams. He worked as a custodian for the Rock Island School District for many years, and also owned a small bat removal business. 

Danny enjoyed playing softball, pool, and chess; he also liked riding Harleys, collecting coins, and was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He especially loved spending time with his family and helping people through the AA program.

Survivors include his mother, Katherine Adams; children Danny Adams Jr. and Jeremy Adams; grandchildren Brendan Still, Kaiden Adams, Isaac Adams, Patric Adams, and Xavier Adams; and many nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, JL Adams, his daughter, Brandi Adams, and his brothers Jimmy Adams and Donald Adams.
