D. Mark Hesseltine, 46, of Moline, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Genesis Medical Center's Illini Campus in Silvis, IL. A visitation only will be held at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, on Saturday, May 5, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.. Per his request, cremation rites will then be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make A Wish Foundation, 640 N. LaSalle Drive, Suite 280, Chicago, IL 60654 Daniel Mark Hesseltine was born in Davenport, IA, on May 21, 1965, to Donald Hesseltine, Sr. and Sally (Bishop) Boley. He graduated from the Davenport schools, and was employed as a roofer. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburg Steelers, and of NASCAR. In addition to his parents, survivors include: a sister, Wendi (Michael) Fahrenkrug, and a brother, Don Hesseltine, Jr, all of Davenport; a niece and three nephews, including one very special nephew, M.J..
