Clovis L. Armstrong, 87, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at his home. There will be a visitation at Wendt Funeral Home at 1:30 pm on Monday, December 3 rd .  Graveside services will then be held at 2:30 pm at National Cemetery on Arsenal Island. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside service should be at the funeral home no later than 2:15 pm to be included in the procession. Clovis was born April 12, 1931 in Eldridge, AL, son of Ira and Elsie (Tucker) Armstrong.   On October 13, 1954, in Glasgow, Scotland, he married Brenda Newton, who survives. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955.  He was employed by Fuller Printing, last working in 1998. In addition to his wife, Brenda, survivors include his children, Phillip L. (Debbie) Armstrong, Michael W. Armstrong, Carol (William) Stillwell, and Debbi Snyder; a brother, Clelland Armstrong; 9 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clois, daughter, Sandy, and a great-grandson, Jescie.
