Christine Hadselford, formerly known as Christine Demers, passed away on January 12, 2026, at UnityPoint Hospital in Rock Island, IL. Born on March 13, 1962, in Ottawa, Canada, Christine was a pillar of love and warmth within her family and among her friends. She possessed a unique blend of stubbornness and sweetness that endeared her to all who knew her.

Christine's love for her family was boundless, especially when it came to her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, often serving as the family's central figure, bringing joy and togetherness in every gathering. Her dedication to her loved ones was one of her proudest accomplishments, second only to the cherished relationship she shared with her husband, Robert. The couple married on September 25, 1999, in Milan, IL, and together they exemplified true partnership and devotion.

In addition to her family life, Christine had a passion for cooking and enjoyed talking with her friends back in Canada, maintaining those connections throughout her life. Her warm-hearted nature and her ability to nurture relationships contributed to a rich social life filled with meaningful interactions.

Christine is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; her twin sons, Marc (Candi) and Denis Demers; and her son, Travis Brantner. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her legacy forward. Her sister, Johanne Howarth, numerous nieces, and nephews also survive her, holding dear the memories of a woman who touched their lives deeply.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gerard and Jeanine (Lelonde) Demers, and a brother and a sister. Her absence will be felt, but Christine's spirit and the love she shared will undoubtedly resonate within her family for generations to come.

Christine Hadselford will be remembered not only as a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother but also as a friend whose kindness and sweetness brightened the lives of those around her. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
