IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christina Anne
Reyes
August 4, 1975 – January 28, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christina Anne Miller Reyes, affectionately known as Chris, who left us on January 28, 2026, in Brunswick, Georgia. Born in Moline, Illinois, on August 4, 1975, Chris brought light into the lives of everyone she encountered with her radiant smile and captivating personality.
Chris was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Chris Reyes, and a nurturing mother to their cherished daughter, Miranda. Throughout her life, Chris held many jobs, but she always maintained that her most treasured role was that of a wife and mother. The memories she created with her family were the highlight of her existence. From delightful outings for manicures to unforgettable overnight trips, and the joy of attending numerous concerts together, each moment spent with her husband and daughter was a testament to her selfless love and unwavering dedication to them. She made it a priority to always put the needs of others before her own, embodying what it truly means to be compassionate.
An involved member of the community, Chris graduated from Rock Island High School in 1993, where she made her mark as a player on both the softball and tennis teams. Her enthusiasm for life extended beyond sports; she was passionate about volunteering at local humane societies, advocating for animal welfare, and dedicating time to cleaning up local beaches. Her compassionate spirit saw her often bringing food, clothes, and other necessities to those in need, showcasing a soul defined by kindness and generosity.
Chris shared a profound bond with her late father, Michael Miller, whose memory she carried in her heart. She also cherished her relationships with her mother, Barbara Miller, and her sisters, Jennipher Estes and Alysia Dill, who will miss her dearly. Chris’s family circle expanded with her life-long friend, Melissa Wilkerson, and her beloved nieces and nephew, including Bailey Estes, Ariyah and Baylee Dill, and Tyler Estes. She had a special connection with her goddaughter, Jordan Wilkerson Skilling, who brought her joy and pride.
Chris's love for animals was evident in her extensive family of adopted cats and dogs, whom she nurtured with warmth and affection throughout her life. Her infectious spirit and generous heart will leave a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
