Anthony I. Ramos, born February 10, 2002, in Moline, IL, passed away in his hometown on July 2, 2026. Anthony’s life, though far too short, was marked by both a depth of heart and a keen, reflective spirit. He was a loving and devoted individual, known for his remarkable memory for details, a quality that allowed him to truly see and remember the people and moments that mattered most to him.

Anthony graduated from Moline High School in 2020, a milestone celebrated with pride by his family and friends. He went on to attend a community college in DuPage, Illinois, furthering his education and broadening his horizons.

Music and movies were among Anthony’s greatest passions. He found joy and inspiration through these interests, often sharing his discoveries and insights with those around him. Nature walks offered Anthony time for self-reflection, a practice that exemplified his thoughtful approach to life. He cherished these quiet moments outdoors, which provided him opportunities to process life’s experiences.

Family was at the center of Anthony’s world. He especially treasured family vacations to Orange Lake, Florida, where he created lasting memories filled with laughter, conversation, and togetherness. Those who knew him will remember that his happiest times were spent surrounded by loved ones, reflecting the depth of his devotion to family.

Anthony leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold his memory dear: His father and stepmother, Roberto S. and Cheryl Ramos; his mother, Heather Jo Rodriguez; his sisters, Alexxis Ramos, Arianna Galvez, Alyssa Galvez and Alison Desbles; his brother, Elijah Helms; his grandmothers, Leticia Reyna, Cindy Kuta, and Barbara Yandell; his grandfathers, Armando Ruiz and John Davila; his aunts, Regina Granado, Felicia Davila, and Monica Ramsey; his uncles, Shawn Davila and Armando Ruiz Jr.; his brothers/cousins, Eli Granado and Emmet Reyna; cousins, Mariah Nelson, Gaje Davila, Chloie Ruiz, Amaiya Ruiz, Alex Katzenburger, Zane Katzenburger, and many more relatives who were touched by his life.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alejandro Ramos and George Kuta, who now welcome him with open arms.

Anthony’s reflective nature, loving heart, and devotion to family will live on through all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed, yet his memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration.
