Douglas M. Morris, age 36, of Rock Island, IL. died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, July 8, 2007. Douglas M. Morris was born December 9, 1970, to Albert and Marian (Bernauer) Morris in Muscatine, IA. He was employed as a Truck Driver for B & J Trucking in Geneseo, IL Doug enjoyed riding motorcycles and horses. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 12th, at 3 :30 P.M. at the Durant Cemetery in Durant, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include: his companion: Jamie MacKenzie of Rock Island, IL; his Father: Albert Morris of Muscatine, IA.; three daughters: Ashley Morris of Muscatine, IA., Kasandra Morris and Marian Morris, both of Port Byron, IL.; three sisters: Vickie (Roger) Clark, Shirley (David) Dierickx and Cindy (John) Miller, all of Muscatine, IA.; three brothers: Albert (Sonia) Morris of Muscatine, IA., Charles (Patty) Morris of Columbus Junction, IA., and Richard Morris of Nicols, IA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marian Morris.
